How does the system know when school is out?
| After you order your system, we contact you and ask you what time zone you are in and when school gets out.
We then program the system for you. Easy as pie.

My kid has a cell phone. Why do I need the Safely-Home system?
| Kids might be tempted to phone in and tell you that they are home, but aren't. The "BIG GREEN BUTTON" is actually at home.
Kids may forget to call you when they get home.
Some jobs don't allow personal calls all the time at work. The text message is a simple way to know your child got home safely.

Can I get an e-mail rather than a text message?
| Yes. The system can send either a text message, e-mail or both.

Can my spouse and I both get a text or e-mail?
| Yes. Up to 2 text messages or e-mails can be sent to different locations when your child gets home.

With the BASIC + VOICE system, do I have to record a new message every day?
| No. The system will just play the last recorded message if you don't re-record a new one.

Will it work where I live?
| Anywhere that you can get a cell phone signal in the continental US will work with our included GSM radio.

Do I have to buy cell phone service for the Safely-Home unit?
| The cell phone service is included in the monthly fee of 14.99 per month.

Is there a long contract?
| No. The service is month to month with no term.

If I change my cell phone number or e-mail address can the system still find me?
| Yes. You can call us and we will update your Safely-Home unit remotely.
